Sticky Tumeric Rice

Tumeric is well known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects so dish up this side for a health punch to the bod and some added delicious-ness too!

Serves: 4 (with some leftover for your next days lunch!)

Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked rice

2 handfuls of frozen peas

2 tsp tumeric

1/2 tsp garlic granules

Optional – 1/2 tsp onion granules

 

Instructions:

  • Boil 3 cups of water on the hob.
  • Stir in the turmeric
  • Put the rest of the ingredients into the pan and boil on a medium heat until the water has disappeared.
  • Serve as a side dish! Simple!
